Can You Think Your Way to Clear Skin? The answer is in.

When you think about all the ways to love on your liver and get clear skin, including eating high quality food and using non-toxic products, the whole thing can get overwhelming real fast.

What’s more, the most challenging part about loving your liver is creating the habit of loving your liver. My previous 3 blogs go through all the ways to love your liver and clear your skin. Now, I’ve saved my weirdest tip for last.

How to Love Your Liver Every Single Day For Clear Skin

So, this might sound completely strange, but I actually think of my liver as a human being. Why??

When I consider my overburdened liver as an overworked human, I think of how hard it works for me:

  • the tireless number of jobs that it does for me

  • working all the time- around the clock

  • it's so stressed out

Thinking about my liver this way, I imagine that my liver is tired, sweaty, and grumpy. It’s just hating life because it's just too busy. And the last thing I would do, if I knew a human was feeling like that, is to give him or her more stuff to do.

You wouldn’t want to stack more on their plate.

So what would you do? You would want to start taking things away to alleviate the stress and workload.

A Close-Up Look at How to Think of Your Liver as a Human

Here’s an example of when I think of my liver as a human. Whenever I'm about to take an ibuprofen, drink alcohol, or use a non-toxic product that I know my liver is going to have to process, I think about my liver as my lover. I know, it’s the strangest thing, but it works. Would I want to add a burden to my lover?

If you really want clear skin, then you have to prioritize your health. In order to prioritize your health, you need to love yourself. You need to realize that you're this AMAZING living creature and you need support and care for your body.

But, if you're not going to care for your body, then your body is not going to like it. There’s a give and take in this relationship with your body, and that means give what you want in return.

This mindset shift will help you care for and love your liver every day. That means anything you do that might affect my liver, take that split-second moment to reconsider, and that will most likely prevent you from using that toxic-filled product/food/unfiltered water.

Take Action to Clear Your Acne

You are going to see improvement with your overall health and you’ll start to see your skin clear up. Understanding how your body works will keep you on track with taking care of yourself and getting rid of acne.

Last thing, I really hope that you take action on everything I’ve suggested because you can read about this all day, but you actually have to do the work. Don’t get me wrong! I am not opposed to researching (you know I love going into the science behind acne), but, in the end, it comes down to implementing everything that you’re learning.

Remember to love yourself, love your body, and LOVE YOUR LIVER. As I mentioned in my previous 3 blog posts, download the EWG app, start getting rid of toxic things in your house and in your life one by one. Don't expect to throw everything away and buy new things all at once. For instance, when your toothpaste runs out and you go to the store, just think to yourself, “What can I get instead?” Try out the EWG app for suggestions.

Just do one thing at a time, take baby steps, and don’t sweat it because you will get there.
